Milan-born Francesco Ragazzi started the Palm Angels brand in 2011 as a photographic document of LA skate culture. The pursuit of a complete document evolved into a book published by Rizzoli in 2014. In 2015, a year later, Palm Angels entered the apparel industry. With an Italian take on American subcultures, the clothing is used as an identity symbol.
